The QUICK and EASY way for drafting Letters and Emails

Introduction:

The main purpose of the Letter Aid PIM database is to help you DRAFT business letters and emails with LEAST amount of TIME and EFFORT. Letter Aid outputs a fully formatted list of all letter receivers for the company you want to send a letter to. For example if you choose to send a letter to someone at Supply Corporation you will get a list as shown below:

Now all you need to do is copy paste the required address block in to the body of your letter OR email.

If you would like to include the complete postal address of the company you can use the Envelope option. You will get a list as shown below.

Fully formatted means that all dots, commas and dashes are inserted by the software in every address. Thus you will NEVER have to type . , and - for each address.

  • All the drop down lists are self-learning. If you type in new data and click Save button, it will automatically be included in the list. Thus you DO NOT have to TYPE in that data next time, just select it from the drop list.

Letter Aid is a Personal Information Management [PIM] database developed using MS Access 2007. Letter Aid is available as a .accde file. To use it you must have MS Access 2007 or later installed on your computer. What is MS Access?

 
Download Letter Aid

Click the above link, then choose [save the file to disk] option and click Save to save the LetterAidDemo.zip file on your computer.

To unzip letteraid.zip double left click on it. This will start WinZip and display the contents of the zip file. Extract all the contents to a folder named LetterAid (you will first need to create this folder) on your hard disk.

 
If you do not have WinZip installed then you can download evaluation version of WinZip from the download page at http://www.winzip.com/downwzeval.htm

The LetterAid folder should now contain 2 files as described below:

  1. Sampl.accde - This is the Sample / Demo version of the software. It includes sample data for 30 letter receivers & addresses of 15 companies. It has all the features and functionality of the usable version and will give you a fair idea of what the software can do.

  3. Instructions for using Letter Aid DEMO Version.pdf - Instruction booklet for using the Sampl.accde database. It has 5 pages that you can print out.

IMPORTANT: If you are using MS Access 2003 and above, you might get a Security Warning. This software is completely safe and does not have any macro viruses (if you find one, you are free to report us to Tripod). On the Security Warning dialog box choose to Open the .mdb file.
